Dr. Orejudos is the founder of the First Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School Chapter in China, building chapters in Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai. He was 1 of 4 honored speakers to speak about the development of China healthcare at the First International Forum of Quality and Safety, Asia in Hong Kong, hosted by BMJ and IHI. Other honored speakers were Dr. Margaret Chan and Vivian Li from the World Health Organization, Dr. Hao Zheng from Jiaotong University and Lei Haichao, Deputy Director General Beijing Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning. He has over 20 years of experience in both the United States public and private health care sector, with the past 9 years directly in operational management in China.
