Flyability is a Swiss startup building safe drones for inaccessible places. By allowing drones to be used safely inside cities, inside buildings, and in contact with people, it enables new interactions and services with UAVs and solving the two most critical issues of one of the fastest growing industries: collision and injury risks. The company’s first market is in industrial inspection where it avoids sending people in dangerous and confined spaces for the inspection of energy, oil & gas or transport infrastructure. It is also active in search & rescue and security to assess emergency situations without putting humans at risk.

As the 2nd edition of the "Café des Sciences" event series, we invite Xiaolin Briod-Wang - the General Manager of Big China at Flyability to give us a talk and share her insight of the swiss safe drones for inaccessible places.

Xiaolin Briod-Wang

Xiaolin is the General Manager of Big China at Flyability. She obtained in 2009 a Master in Microtechnology at EPFL. Before working for Flyability, she worked at Meyer Burger, a group active in the photovoltaic cell and module manufacturing business. Her role was Sales Area Manager APAC where she was in charge of the formation and supervision of the sales team in Asia, of creating relationships with strategic clients and had to manage various projects.
