There are many personal traits that can help a person succeed in life. A hard-working, multilingual, multicultural person with a strong academic background will most likely be able to enter a good college and later on, do relatively well in life. But what can set a person, or a student apart from others? What will help them not only “survive”, but truly thrive, and go beyond expectations?

Welcome to register for our Distinguished Speaker Series “Unlock the Passion In Your Child”. Moderated by veteran host Liu Xin from CCTV’s English channel CGTN, the session will feature two guests who have followed their passions to great success: entrepreneur Dai Kun, and master violinist Gao Can. We have also just added a third speaker Dr, Claudine Hyatt from RafflesMedical, a psychologist, who will be able to discuss how to help your child discover his/her passion from a parenting perspective.

In our Distinguished Speaker Series, we bring you two guests who have both lived a life of passion, but discovered their passions through very different means. As a successful entrepreneur and one of China’s most celebrated musicians, Dai Kun and Gao Can will offer their unique and  candid perspectives on the role of “passion” in their lives. The session will delve deep into their childhood, how they discovered their passions, how was it nurtured and who or what were some of their greatest influences/supporters.

优信集团主席兼首席执行官——戴琨 

Dai Kun, Chairman & CEO Uxin Group    

戴琨自青年时代起就喜爱汽车。2011年，他创办了二手车交易平台——优信集团。之后，在其带领下，集团共获得四轮融资，累计融资额近10亿美元，目前全国共有员工超过10,000名。在本期讲座中，我们将会了解到戴琨是如何将他的激情逐步转化成现实，打造出中国最大的二手车在线交易平台（即将上市）。

Ever since he was young, Dai Kun loved cars. In 2011, he founded the second-hand car trading platform Uxin Group. Since then, he has spearheaded the company through four rounds of fundraising with a cumulative worth of close to one billion U.S. Dollars, and today manages over 10,000 employees across China.
