While the presence of substandard and falsified medical products (SFMPs) appears to be declining overall in the Chinese market, the problem has not disappeared. Instead, it is evolving, taking new forms and creating new risks.

This conference will provide practical insights into recent developments and the measures being taken to address these challenges. Following an overview of key definitions and the regulatory framework in China, we will examine the role and actions of Chinese Customs in combating illicit pharmaceutical products. Representatives from two pharmaceutical companies will also share their firsthand experiences and perspectives.
