Learn Blockchain-based Raising and Allocation of Capital

a novel mechanism for blockchain-based raising and allocation of capital

Introduction The future of blockchain fundraising. Bonds and Bonding Curves.

DAOs(decentralized autonomous organization) are an emerging form of open and automated organizations based on blockchain that is at the forefront of technological innovation (feature in Gartner’s 2019 Hype Cycle)

This talk will present Aragon DAOs and the Aragon Fundraising model that enables individuals to organize themselves and raise capital in a global and permissionless manner.

This stands in contrast to early models of fundraising for crypto networks such as ICOs that suffer numerous pitfalls while Fundraising is based on bonding curves: a smart contract-based automated market maker that enables continuous token minting, and balanced incentive mechanisms.

SPEAKERS

Arseny Akinfiev

Arseny is a blockchain full-stack developer and Web 3 advocate. He is focusing on building infrastructure around Ethereum and Polkadot protocols. He is an active contributor to Dothereum, Gossamer and Status Teller Network.

Daniel has a degree in economics from Bocconi University with a thesis on the perverse monetary, economic and political effects of natural resource booms. In a previous life, he worked as a payments consultant advising entities such as Atos Worldline, Paypal, Mastercard, Unicredit and the Italian Banking Association on clearing and settlement and dispute systems.
