How the 2020 Elections Will Impact US-China Relations

The 2020 Presidential and Congressional elections are nigh. Their outcomes will determine the makeup of the presidency, Congress, and state and local governments for at least the next two years, and may lead to significant US-China policy change. Understanding the implications of these pivotal elections is crucial for American companies in China.

AmCham Shanghai and USCBC welcome you to a joint breakfast briefing on the 2020 US elections. After opening remarks by AmCham and USCBC, a panel that includes Vice Chairman & Secretary General of Shanghai Development Research Foundation Qiao Yide; Economist Intelligence Unit Director Mary Boyd; USCBC Vice President Matt Margulies; and AmCham Shanghai President Ker Gibbs will discuss what the 2020 elections will mean for the US-China economic, political, and national security relationships.
