Celebrate the upcoming Year of the Rooster with YCIS Beijing at the school’s annual Temple Fair! Don’t miss the performances of our young and talented students! A variety of vendors, both from outside and from the YCIS Beijing community, will also be in attendance to offer a host of other activities and popular shows such as martial arts and shadow puppet shows.

Students from our ECE and Primary School sections will be performing songs in Chinese for their parents and teachers. These festive songs and dances will not only help to celebrate the Chinese New Year but also give the kids an opportunity to show all that they’ve learned so far during the year.

The Y12 students of YCIS Beijing will again help in the Temple Fair as part of their CAS programme requirements — where students participate in a variety of extracurricular activities that help them grow into well-rounded people. The Y12 students will run several different activities in the Temple Fair for the younger students, including beading, lantern painting, making Chinese knots, fish handicrafts, and much more.
