Beijing Postcards

Beijing Postcards is a company dedicated to Beijing history. We conduct archival research and oral history projects in order to create original walks, talks, events and historical souvenirs. We uses the cityscape of Beijing to explore Chinese thought and ideas. All of our events are themed and we aim to make them challenging, inspiring and fun. Our goal is to take you off the beaten path, in every sense, and to use our research to help you view and engage with Beijing in new ways.

Please read the important notes below before you register:

To participate in this run you will have to be able to run 9 kilometers in an hour.

We will have the experienced runner Kristian Teglkamp in front running around twelve to thirteen kilometers an hour and Lars in the back running around ten kilometer an hour. We have designed the route so that Kristians’ trail is slightly longer than the path Lars will follow. This way we will not have to wait for each other when we gather at the designated meeting points. The “slower route” is ten point five kilometers long. If we include the stops, everyone should be able to finish the course within an hour and forty-five minutes. This is not a race with time but a historical run!

We will provide water at the beginning of the run and have a well-deserved drink with snacks when you arrive at the Beijing Postcards Gallery.

We can collect your bags at the meeting point.

Please feel free to bring a bag with an extra change of clothes for after the run.
