It's time for another Sunday Funday! 

This time it's all about Soul Food & Spades

This month is a celebration of Black History Month & some of Chef Olivia's favorite cultural phenomena: Soul Food & the friendship defining (or breaking) game known as Spades. Spades is a game born from the African American culture & it has been a key part of many a cookout, family reunion, or hot summer night. So what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than eating good food & having a good time with friends new & old. And don't worry if you've never played spades before, you are more than welcome to just come and eat, or dip your toe in at the beginner's table.

As always, the events are open to everyone because delicious food & a good time doesn't discriminate.

As for spades, these are the house rules:

• We play joker, joker, deuce, deuce
• We count sandbags
• We take score, first to 200 wins
• Getting -100 ends the game
• No talking across the table
• If you get caught reneging, you automatically forfeit 3 books to the opponent
