Richard Wang joined DFJ Dragon Fund since 2011. Mr. Wang has over 18 years of business development, technical marketing and sales management in high technology space experiences. Prior to DFJ Dragon Fund, Richard served as QunZhong E-Commerce’s CEO and successfully opens up new sales channel through PC internet, mobile internet and MSO. He also develops the franchise channel for further expand the distribution network and logistic service. Prior to QunZhong E-Commerce, he also founded OLEA Network with partners from Silicon Valley. The company research and develop wireless intelligent ECG senor by using the Doppler radar principle. Richard also worked as APAC sales director and Greater China country manager for Wavesat. He managed sale and business development for WiMAX and LTE market focus on ODMs/OEMs and carriers engagement and design in Asia. Before Wavesat, Richard took several functions from technical support to business development in RF Micro Device since 2002. Richard is seasoned technical person with strong knowledge of Wireless System, RF sub-system product design and application, including GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, WIMAX and LTE product, he has several technical papers published in IEEE journal. Mr. Wang holds MSEE from National Chiao Tung University since 1995.

In 2003, Phyrex Ni joined Tianjing TV station and established the first online game in China. In the last 15 years he was occupied in the Chinese online gaming industry and managed several games which promoted more than 10 million. Also he invested in online games for children and the new gaming e-commerce industry. Currently Phyrex Ni devotes all his time to the blockchain company Bluetoken, that is an investment company for blockchain projects and establishing the stable currency. Phyrex Ni is investing in a number of outstanding blockchain companies,such as Pocketcon.

Dr. Paulina Chilarska - PhdCambridge - Founder GTIF Fund

Dr Paulina Chilarska is a serial entrepreneur with a particular interest in Artificial Intelligence and technology transfer. She holds PhD in Computational Biology/Stem Cell Biology from the University of Cambridge, MPhil also in the same discipline also from the University of Cambridge and BSc in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh. Dr Chilarska is the member of both the Chinese Academy of Science and the International Society for Computational Biology. She has ample academic teaching experience in the field of technology commercialisationfrom institutions such as the University of California Berkeley, the University of Cambridge and Singapore Management University. After having worked with the Nobel Prize winner Sir Professor Paul Nurse at the Rockefeller University in New York she embarked on an entrepreneurial journey in technology consulting, technology investment advisory services, and AI commercialisation. She is currently the Partner at Dynamic Innovation Consulting in Shanghai and the Chief Science Advisor to a number of technology companies both in Asia and in the western world. Dr Chilarska is an avid public speaker and an educator with a mission of marrying technology startup business models with more traditional approaches for greater efficiency, flexibility andscaleability. Dr Chilarska speaks five languages and is happily married dividing her time between the UK, Singapore and Shanghai.

Michael has more than twenty years’ experience managing organizations and has worked in numerous start-up ventures in various industries including education, human resources, fashion, retail, health/beauty and media. He began his career as an attorney handling both civil and criminal legal matters. He worked for two US Federal Courts, served eight years as a Federal Prosecutor with the United States Department of Justice (receiving an Outstanding Attorney Award in 1993 and 1996), and was Minister of Justice and Special Prosecutor for the Republic of Palau. In early 2005, Michael moved to China to serve as CEO for Day Light Inc., USA, a multinational corporation involved in the health/beauty/travel industries. He presently serves as President of JuQi Wenhua Media and as Co National Director for Miss Earth China. Michael has provided a variety of trainings for MBA students, as well as International companies such as L’Oreal, Berlitz and SAP, and is also a business executive coach. Michael sits on the International WildAid Advisory Board and is on the Executive Committee of the Xishuanghanna Wildlife Film Festival.
