What's on the Menu

• Dongbei disanxian – a classic stir fry originating from Northeastern China, made of potatoes, peppers, and egglant in a sweet and savory sauce
• Dan dan noodles and bok choy – a spicy noodle dish popular Sichuan cuisine, made from Chinese pure sesame paste and peppers, topped with fresh green bok choy
• Stir fried water spinach – a savory and crunch green that's in season for spring; sauteed lightly in a wine-based soy sauce

About Chef Shiyin Wang

Shiyin Wang is an American chef born in Shanghai. He founded Kaixin Cooking in 2018 to teach people healthy Chinese cooking. His cooking style comes from his family and from his cooking experience in California and New York. Shiyin's goal is to blend traditional Chinese flavor with Modern healthy eating principles.
