swissnex China is Switzerland's outpost for Science, Technology, Innovation and Culture in China. We invite experts in blockchain technology under the FinTech umbrella to join us. Blockchain has the potential to fundamentally alter business relationships by offering a completely new structure for transactions. Starting with the example of bitcoin as a new currency, blockchain allows independently verified systems that are already used by artists, business people and can be applied where there was often no system.  Our speakers will share their views on

Mr. Nathan Kaiser

Nathan KAISER has over 16 years of professional experience as a lawyer in the Greater China area. A Swiss national, he is admitted as an attorney-at-law and foreign lawyer to the Zurich, Berlin, Hong Kong and Taipei bars. Nathan advises international clients in all matters pertaining to investment, corporate law, commercial trade, employment law and commercial disputes. A Bitcoin pioneer in Asia, his law firm was the first in the region to accept the cryptocurrency as payment. He has published several articles on Bitcoin and the legal environment, and is a regular speaker on the subject. Nathan is a founding member of the Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong (BAHK), and the Taipei Bitcoin Association.

Mr. Eric Gu

Eric is co-founder of ViewBTC consulting. ViewBTC is an independent research & consulting firm expertise in digital cryptocurrency. Eric used to live in Canada and work in government of Ontario as IT expert. Since 2012 after coming back to China, he’s dedicated in big data research, consultancy. He started up own consulting business in cryptocurrenty since 2014, and contributed in the translation of new book “ Blockchain- blueprint of new economy”

Eric will share with us why Nasdaq and overstock.com are so concerned about blockchain applications, as well as the application in China- crowdfunding, P2P lendings and other OTC tradings, who are the players internationally and domestic, and other interesting points.

Ms. Jane Zhang

Jane Zhang is founder and chairman of Shellpay, Shellpay is a blockchain company in China. Jane is also an angel investor focusing on blockchain & education companies in China, founded two other companies, she is knowledgeable and experienced in doing business in China, especially in IT and internet, blockchain and Education.

Mr. Brandon

Brandon is a hacker, an enthusiast and expert in Blockchain and bitcoin. He is early bitcoin developer and did crypto port for libp256k1. Brandon did behavioral finance hedge fund stuff and big data, working on distributed consensus without mining and new programming languages for implementing structures more general than blockchain.
