Conference Background:
The Turning Key Age for China Charity Fundraising
Established since 2012, China Charity Fair is a national initiative by P.R.C Minstry of Civil Affairs, State Council, All China Business Federation, Guangdong Provincial Government and Shenzhen Municipal Government to promote the charity sector among the public and establish a national platform to bridge the resources with the needs of the Chinese nonprofits.
The Global Fundraising Conference will be organized from 23rd Sep. to 25th Sep. 2016 as the key event of the China Charity Fair. The Global Fundraising Conference shares and leverages global best practices in fundraising for China local innovations, China’s global platform for nonprofit fundraising.
Vision
• Innovating
GFC-China is China’s first Global Fundraising Conference, an innovative global forum that helps bridge global best practices in fundraising with China local innovations.
• Inspiring
GFC-China is based on global best practices in donor-centric fundraising. While presenting global best practices in fundraising to the Chinese nonprofits, GFC-China also brings in donors and philanthropists to share their perspectives to inspire participants.
• Globalizing
Based on the needs of Chinese NGOs to go international and fund collaborating projects along the Silk Road, GFC-China also brings in nonprofit representatives along the Silk Road for cross-border collaboration and funding opportunities from Chinese donors.
