Female Health Empowerment Network
Female Health Empowerment Network was founded in 2019 in hopes of bringing together a nationwide community of expat women, empowering them with the resources they need and helping them navigate the Chinese healthcare system. FHEN currently has over 450 members nationwide, the majority of who reside in Beijing, Suzhou and Hangzhou. FHEN gives women a safe space to discuss topics related to both physical and mental health that may be viewed as taboo in other circles. In doing so, women can share resources to support each other as well as information about various hospitals and clinics that offer gynecological services, STD testing and birth control options. These are just a few examples of what Female Health Empowerment Network provides for women living in China.

Join us at FHEN's first in-person event in Beijing for International Women's Day! Part of gender equality is ensuring women have equal access to healthcare. At this event we'll not only have fun with activities and prizes but also ensure women have the equal access to the care they deserve.
