FACILITATOR

Ryan Ulrich 
Executive Director at goglobalrecovery & GTD (Getting Things Done) Trainer

Mr. Ulrich is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has a Master’s in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins—Nanjing University School for Advanced International Studies in Nanjing, China.

Mr. Ulrich has a broad background in communications and business. He began his career in Shanghai in public affairs with APCO Worldwide and as a journalist for the Global Times.

He led the communications function for Suntech Power, once the world’s largest solar panel company, through its bankruptcy and restructuring operations, the biggest corporate bankruptcy in China’s history.

After the solar industry, he moved to the health care industry, first working as an addiction prevention specialist for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Asia, and then as Communications Leader for the Johnson & Johnson Asia Pacific Innovation Center and most recently as Communications Director for GlaxoSmithKline’s Neuroscience R&D unit based in Shanghai.

In 2018, Mr. Ulrich launched goglobalrecovery, an organization dedicated to providing access to treatment for clients in Asia suffering from addiction.
