Futurology: the evolution of Innovation

June 28th, at Agora Space

The disruptive rise of technology has led to irreversible advances that have imposed an utter need to rethink our mental models, visions, and values. During this presentation, you will be reflecting upon some concepts of Futurology: the science that systematically studies how the exponential speed of change impacts society, envisions possibilities of desirable futures, in order to build in the present the future we want to live in tomorrow.

- About the Speakers-

<Camila Ghattas>Camila Ghattas is a futurologist and entrepreneur, expert in market strategies and exponential technologies. She co-founded diip, an innovation consultancy and was the Latin American Head of Futurology in the international branding agency CBA, alongside several diverse projects. In China, Camila founded Foreseeksers, a multicultural platform to inspire, teach and unite people to reflect upon the importance of future-thinking, creativity and innovation.

Louis is a futurist and innovation strategist. He co-founded FuturistCircle, the first China-based futurist community connecting professional futurists, trend-spotters and changemakers in addressing social issues. Previously, he has worked for Make-a-Point (a social innovation lab in China), designaffairs (part of Accenture Digital Cosmos), and started a business consultancy in Silicon Valley. He also teaches future thinking and innovation strategy at ESSCA and ECV Shanghai.  His area of interest: Human2.0 –  bring humanity into technology for tomorrow.
