Plant-based Beijing is back! We've got a flurry of events lined up for the coming weeks and months, and we're kicking it all off with another installment in our Vegan Outreach dinner series! Nali Patio all-star restaurant Mosto is offering up a 100% plant-based menu for this month's La Familia dinner, and you're invited!!

A Sanlitun mainstay, Mosto has been winning awards for years for serving up fabulous haute cuisine in a refined space with an eye towards value. Their ever-changing menu is small by design, ensuring that what they do, they do well. Even with a small small number of dishes on offer on any given night, the folks at Mosto are eager to take up the challenge of making sure that there are always a few that are vegan-friendly. They'll premiere their first creations at this month's La Familia dinner. Dishes will be served at each table "family style," giving everyone a chance to sample everything on offer!



The Menu

• Stuffed Paccheri w/tofu, spinach, kale & mushroom
• Blazing garden ceviche w/passion fruit & avocado
  
• Summer salad w/couscous & fermented soy beans
• Chia seed pudding w/lychees & almonds

Reservations

The cost is ¥100 per person and the number of attendees will be capped at 50.

Our Mission

The goal of the Vegan Outreach dinners is to help western restaurants in Beijing to become more vegan-friendly, as well as provide a familiar venue that vegans & vegetarians can invite their non-veggie friends to show them how easy and accessible switching to a plant-based diet can be. Afterwards, the restaurant will update its menu with new items and labels so that plant-based ordering in the future will be easy for all!

Making healthy choices isn't always a simple thing in Beijing, especially if you're a foreigner; we offer advice and provide opportunities that people can use to empower themselves to make a positive impact every day.
