About the instructor:

Djavan De Clercq is a final-year PhD student at Tsinghua University. He holds degrees from Sciences Po Paris (Economics), UC Berkeley (Industrial Engineering), and Tsinghua University (Environmental Science & Engineering).  

During his PhD studies, he published 18 SCI-indexed papers with a total impact factor of 100.

In addition to academics, he also has industry experience in tech (Alibaba, JD.com, Lenovo, Thomson Reuters), consulting (McKinsey, Roland Berger, AT Kearney), VC/PE (Tsing Capital, Creadev) and entrepreneurship.
