A WICKED EXPERIENCE…

Come celebrate “Walpurgis Night” with Bizarre Beijing as we tour the haunted realm near the Caishikou Execution Grounds (菜市口刑场) from Xuanwumen (宣武门) to Hufangqiao (虎坊桥), going through some of Beijing’s most haunted Hutongs and even go by the house of an Infamous Witch that lived in the area...

We will begin our tour at Xuanwumen and proceed through haunted hutongs and other supernatural sites. We will visit the blood-soaked area around Caishikou Execution Grounds and be told the history and tales of Chinese Ghosts as well as practices for placating the spirits that walk the earth during the evening. We will finish our tour with a visit to a haunted Chinese Opera Guildhall that was built over a cemetery.

Each participant will be given “Hell money” for the benefit of the wandering spirits as well as scrolls to protect everyone from possible Jiangshi 僵尸 (Chinese Zombies) attacks!

This tour is not suitable for children and be prepared to be scared. Bizarre Beijing is not responsible if “something” follows you home afterwards.

Due to safety concerns in regards to possible attacks by supernatural forces, we will limit the number of participants to 20.

If you are unable to attend this tour, other Ghost tours will be done throughout the rest of the winter as well as in other areas of Beijing.
