For more than six years the young archaeologist Dr. Gino Caspari has been working in remote landscapes of Central Asia in search of the traces of an enigmatic ancient culture. The Scythians, nomadic horse lords and fearsome warriors, ruled the steppe more than 2500 years ago. They did not leave written sources behind and therefore archaeology is the only way to understand how they lived, fought, and died. Today, the places which once were thriving cultural centers of nomadic tribes have yet again become inaccessible wilderness. Few things remain but the tombs in which those people were buried. And that is where the treasures lie!
