Hannah Northcott
Hannah may not be a cat but it seems that she has lived nine lives. Hannah has hosted a television show, djayed the graveyard shift of a radio program, directed and acted in theater productions, and hosted live shows like Nickelodeon’s ”Let’s Just Play” event where she accidentally amputated Sponge Bob in front of thousands of people.
She’s a chronically curious movement learner, traveler, dreamer, drama educator, master yoga instructor, and podcast junkie. As a global theater artist and fitness advocate, Hannah pioneered and currently teaches the middle school drama and dance program at the International School of Beijing. She also launched the first Drama Yoga Festival in the world, ran Journey to Wholeness wellness retreats, and participates in the collaborative creation of drama festivals as an ISTA Theater Artist.
Hannah combines her knowlege of the human mind and body with her experience in theater, media, and drama education to craft workshops where participants connect with their inner creative child to unlock and share powerful stories.

The “What’s Your Story?” Workshop combines Hannah Northcott’s theater and performance expertise with Inspire Citizens’ community media know-how into an engaging two-hour journey that sparks authentic and creative collaboration, effective communication, and personal exploration.
As a participant, you will engage in an empowering communication workshop and creative writing process – digging into your life’s turning points, reflecting on them and turning them into your own unique ‘story’.
You will learn effective communication and storytelling techniques, finally walking away from this writing, performance and media workshop with your own meaningful story recorded on audio and video.
The greatest takeaway, however, is finding and confidently articulating the ‘why’ behind one’s identity, vision, or brand.
Behind every successful social movement, social identity, product or brand is a strong, compelling story.
What’s your story?
This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to communicate the ‘why’ behind why they do what they do. Whether you are a teacher looking to share with parents, the founder of a small start-up, a consultant or coach looking to tell your clients your backstory, the founder of a social movement looking to engage and draw people into your cause, or an individual who wants to uncover their own story, being able to clearly article your ‘why’ will build connection with your clients and your audience, and leave you with more confidence and a clearer sense of self.
