We patiently waited in Beijing trying to dodge spoilers and resist the urge to download a free copy. FINALLY, on March 9th, Beijing got THE chance to see the magic and by now, we've all seen the movie, once, twice or maybe even three times. So now what?

Many of us have seen countless articles dissecting the themes and messages of Black Panther and we may have participated in the occasional WeChat debate regarding the movie. On April 7th, join us and our lineup of panelists to delve into the meat of Black Panther and its takeaways.

Joined by special guest poet Tyson Amir and with an interview featuring the only female chair of the Black Panther Party, Elaine Browne, we explore undercurrents of race and identity, gender and politics woven throughout the Black Panther film.
