swissnex China and the EPFL Alumni Shanghai Chapter are delighted to welcome Professor Vetterli to Shanghai for a discussion on global trends in science and technology as well as to exchange and connect. Professor Vetterli has a very strong academic record with many papers in leading publications and a wide range of awards from. As an expert in his field, he has also started or facilitated the creation of several startups including Dartfish, a global leader in video analysis for sports. Currently, President of the National Research Council of the Swiss National Science Foundation, he has been very active in science policy as well. Professor Vetterli can rely on his experience abroad to tackle important issues such as the migration flows, the talent war and the competitive funding landscape in science. Please join us to wish a warm welcome to Shanghai to Professor Vetterli, to learn more about the current projects and developments under way at EPFL as well as to exchange on global trends in innovation and science.
