Research has conclusively shown that family mealtimes have a tremendous impact on children’s eating habits as they grow into adulthood and start making food choices of their own. To give parents the best tools needed to teach their children how to make smart dietary decisions, YCIS Beijing (Yew Chung International School of Beijing) has partnered with Oasis International Hospital to host an insightful and informative “Children’s Nutrition Workshop”.

Presented by nutrition expert and registered dietitian Leora Martin, this free parent workshop will cover common challenges parents face at home such as:

How can we create a healthy eating environment?
How involved should we be in our children's food choices?
How can we use meal time to instill confidence in our children?
When should we take a step back and trust our children and their food choices?

Date: Thursday September 22, 2016

Time: 10.00 a.m. – noon
