Mars Rover Robotics Workshops
W1: Mars Rover Motion Control 2019.03.24
Join Workshop W1 (Wheeled Robot 1) to assemble your own wheeled robot from scratch and program its motion with Robot Operating System (ROS) and Python commands in under 5 hours. This is the first and fundamental course of the Wheeled Robot suite suitable for Beginners and above.
W2: Mars Rover Obstacle Avoidance 2019.03.31
Join Workshop W2 (Wheeled Robot 2) to equip your wheeled robot with ultrasonic sensors and obstacle avoidance capabilities with Python commands in approximately 5 hours. This is the second course of the Wheeled Robot suite suitable for Beginners and above, and has W1 as a prerequisite.
W3: Mars Rover Sample Detection 2019.04.07
Join Workshop W3 (Wheeled Robot 3) to equip your wheeled robot with a camera and LEDs, in order to give it visual capabilities with Python and OpenCV in approximately 5 hours. This is the third course of the Wheeled Robot suite suitable for Intermediate learners and above, and has W2 as a prerequisite.
NOTE: The assembled robots are not included in the price of this workshop and can be bought separately after the end of the workshop.
Participant Total Number: 15/workshop
Requirements: Participants are required to bring their own laptop or tablet PCs.
