Marriage Retreat 2022 – when 2 becomes 1

Family background has a big influence on a marriage - for some people, the support they receive from their family is good and helpful in building a strong marriage - for others, it’s more complicated and can even be damaging.

This marriage retreat, we will explore what it means when the Bible says:

 For this reason a man [and a woman] will leave their father and mother and be united to [each other]...— GENESIS 2:24

Retreat Details:

Date: 27-28 December 

Time: Registration on 27th at 1130am. Ends on 28th 2pm  

Venue: The Orchard at Hegezhuang 果园 (何各庄）

Fee: 

Standard room- 1700rmb per couple

Courtyard room - 2100rmb per couple

Prices include 2 lunches, 1 breakfast and 1 dinner (Turkey Meal) at The Orchard Restaurant.

Children are welcome and childcare will be provided during sessions and some meal times. There may be additional costs for meals and extra beds if needed. 

Organizer will contact you separately for details and payment arrangement.

Retreat program outline:

Day One:

1130am    Check in & lunch

3pm         Free time

4pm         Session 1

6pm         Dinner

730pm     Session 2

9pm         Bedtime/Game/Movie Night

Day Two:

7:30am - Breakfast

9:30am - Session 3

11:00am - Free time & Check out

12:00pm - Lunch & after thoughts 

2:00pm - End of retreat

 Important notes:

1. Registration fees are non-refundable, but they are transferable to another couple if you are unable to attend.
2. In the event of retreat cancellation due to Covid restrictions, registration fees may be put toward a stay at The Orchard on another date of your choosing (keep in mind there may be a difference in room price).
3. If finances prove an insurmountable obstacle to your attendance, please email family@bicf.org to discuss financial assistance.
