Biographies
Carole Gabay, Soprano was awarded in 2006 with a First Prize from Conservatoire de
Courbevoie, near Paris, France. Her natural vocal skills directed her very
young to lyric singing and she has kept on studying the Coloratura répertoire
during her academic studies (ESSEC MBA Graduate) and her professional career in
Market Research. She has been living on family expat assignments since 2007 in
various countries (Japan, Switzerland and China) and has thrilled the audience
with her voice at each destination with numerous music performances of various
musical styles. In Japan she performed as soloist with chorus and orchestra in Haydn’s “Schöpfung”
and in China performed with renowned pianists like Pascal Gallet, Li Weijie and
Barytone Heng Shi.
Eva Wenniges, Mezzo-soprano appeared as a soloist in concerts
internationally. She was a soloist of the widely regarded Wagner Symposium in
Israel (role: Blumenmädchen in Parsifal), sang a concert of contemporary music
in the Erasmus House in Jakarta, Indonesia and gave a recital at the world's
famous "Bund" in Shanghai, China. Especially in China she wins
acclaim with her recitals, singing german "Lieder" as well as chinese
repertoire. Eva Wenniges also achieved academically both as a student
and as an instructor. She held scholarships from different organizations such
as the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the L-Bank. In April
2011 she entered a two years scholarship program of Baden Wuerttemberg that
aims to support women on their way to professorship. From May 2011 to
January 2015 Eva Wenniges was a voice instructor in the University of
Music of Trossingen. In August 2015 she was appointed a guest professorship at Tongji
University in Shanghai/ China.
Li Weijie is a young pianist and teacher of Shanghai
Conservatory of Music. He graduated from Lübeck Academy of Music, Germany,
majoring in Piano Performance and studied Vocal Music Art accompaniment in
Hochscule für Musik und Theater, Hamburg. He participated in many Chamber
concerts and held solo concerts in Germany, Austria and Italy. In 2013 he went
on a piano recital tour in Shanghai, Beijing and other cities. He also
participated in “Flowers of Spring and Fruits of Autumn, the concert of
commemoration of the 60th anniversary of Zhou Xiaoyan’s Teaching
career”, with many vocalists. In 2013, he worked as an expert in “Hangzhou, the
Future Musician Master class” and became the piano accompanist for Shanghai
International Opera Masterclass. As a music director, he took part in making,
conducting and paying a few musicals, such as “Telephone”, “She loves me”, “The
last Moment”. He was also invited to perform
in Edimburgh International Music Festival in Scotland and Shanghai
Spring International Music Festival. In 2013, a released a solo piano record
“Dedicated to my Friend” and his name is included in “ Who’s who of artists
published by Northern United Publishing & Media Group
