By focusing on these three integral pillars, we will increase our self-awareness and compassion creating not only better versions of ourselves, but better versions of the communities we are a part of. This weekly practice is a way to hold ourselves accountable, support our local practitioners and also introduce international practitioners and their methods from all over the world.

    Christmas Flow

    Somatic Memory is in an exploration of the body in relation with your memory, emotions, and objects through free movement. In this 2-hour workshop, we will experiment with the use of props and partner work in a theatrical framework.     Vibrance: The Spontaneous Heart

    The spontaneous heart is one that knows how to love and be loved. Vibrance’s map is a guide to how our emotional energy moves and morphs. In this practice we embody the art of being a fluid emotional athlete. This map teaches us how to navigate the emotional terrain of life without getting stuck, holding on, or pushing away. We will explore how the body has been shaped by our emotions, tracking when the heart is open and when it is closed. Vibrance’s Sound & Song practices allow us to fully contact, enter, explore and express our feelings and emotions through creative & expressive art. As feelings move us, we learn how to express our feelings and emotions in a healthy and creative way. In this program we integrate the stillness of Vibrance’s mindfulness sitting meditation with the moving meditations of Vibrance Dance Practice. . The Buddha encouraged us to bring wise attention to every aspect of our lives. By incorporating the Brahmavihara (Heart Practices), one can develop the skills of loving-kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity. These virtues are regarded as powerful antidotes to negative mental states. In sitting meditation, we have the opportunity to observe the mind and body at rest through silent introspection. In the practice of Vibrance, we engage in mindfulness, awareness of self, attention to other, all while in motion. The Vibrance map teaches us how emotional energy moves.     Inner Strength Mandala-Art Therapy Workshop

    Mandalas can be useful tools in art therapy for both children and adults. The word “mandala” is a Sanskrit word (an ancient Indian language) meaning circle. However, it means more than just the geometrical shape; it also encompasses the idea of wholeness and unity. Carl Jung is thought to have introduced the idea of mandalas to the West and often used the mandala as a representation of the unconscious self, creating movement towards psychological growth, and expressing the ideas of safe refuge and inner reconciliation. In this round of the series of art therapy workshops we will provide a safe and non-judgmental space and establish a conversation with the inner self through the creation of your own mandala. The focus will not be on drawing a traditionally beautiful mandala, but to explore and empower your inner strength through the expressive art-making and creative writing within the context of the mandala.

    Gyrokinesis® With Meditation “富有节奏的运动和冥想”

    Gyrokinesis® Method is a holistic movement system which systematically works the joints and muscles through gentle, rhythmic exercises. This stimulates the internal organs, decompresses the joints, and shapes the muscles. This system was developed by the former ballet dancer Juliu Horvath. After a spinal injury, he created this unique training concept which combines therapeutic principles with elements of yoga, dance and Tai Chi. Unlike conventional training methods Gyrokinesis® utilizes free-flowing and three-dimensional movements to generate more freedom and expansion in the body. It not only increases your strength but also improves flexibility and coordination in a playful and structured way. The first part of the training is performed while sitting on a stool to support a greater understanding of the relationship between the pelvis and spine, also allowing the gentle correction of imbalances between the two sides of the body. The movements for each exercise are supported by corresponding breathing patterns, which create a deeper synchronization of body and mind and boost concentration.     Conscious Movement -Moving body for love and out of love

    We are so used to walking and do certain things in our life. They become uncousious movement that we are not aware of body sensation and status when doing that, which sometimes cause tiredness and injury to body. 在生活中,一些动作,例如走路,让人习以为常。它们变成了无意识的动作,我们并没有意识到身体状态和感觉。无意识下的动作经常会让身体受伤或者疲惫。 Conscious Movement workshop is for raising awareness of our movement, ultimately for being more and more conscious of daily movement through life. In this workshop, we will get into mindful status, getting aware of body and observing mind activities. When conscious of ourselves, we do each movement out of self-love and self-care. 意识动作工作坊是为了提升对身体动作的觉知,最终为了在生活中越来越能意识到日常的动作。在这次工作坊中,我们会进入到冥想的状态,感觉身体并观察头脑的活动。当自我觉知时,我们会练习出于爱和自我呵护而动作。
