Antonello's Jazz Living Room

Antonello Marafioti, 55 years old, is an Italian Jazz pianist and composer who has been living in Germany for around 25 years. He started his musical career 1982 in Italy, before he moved to Germany. He is autodidact and learned Jazz playing and frequenting big masters of this language, such as Franco d’Andrea, Enrico Rava, Curtis Fuller, Harold Mabern, Mal Waldron, Steve Lacy among others. His stylistic embrace Thelonious Monk, Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner and Keith Jarret, but it became his own un misundertandable stylistic. Antonello Marafioti hasn’t published any records, under his own name, because he believes in the momentaneity of the live performance. But in the future it could change. At Bookworm he’s going to perform improvisations and self composed themes. Other Jazz musicians living in Beijing are invited to share the stage.

1962年5月30日出生在意大利罗马。7岁的时候上了第一堂钢琴课，18岁的时候邂逅爵士乐并开始参加音乐节和工作坊，在那里得以结识并有幸与包括Franco d'Andrea, Enrico Pieranunzi, Enrico Rava, Gary Burton, Curtis Fuller, Ira Sullivan und Red Rodney在内的伟大的爵士音乐家同台演奏。

大概三年后，他通过在托斯卡纳区（意大利中部行政区，首府是佛罗伦萨）和利古里亚区（意大利西北部行政区，首府是“灯塔之城”——热那亚）两地的不同俱乐部演出开始崭露头角。在1988年，跨过阿尔卑斯山来到纽伦堡（德国东南部城市，西门子的诞生地），在那里待了8年。在纽伦堡，他参与各种类型的音乐会并开始接触加勒比风音乐，这绝妙的节奏深深感染了安东尼洛。从今天来回顾的话，这段经历深刻影响了他的音乐生涯。

1994年，来到文化熔炉——柏林并居住至今，从未停下追寻音乐和推广艺术的步伐。
他在德国、意大利各地演奏爵士、拉丁、桑巴、博萨和剧院音乐，还是一名喜剧演员、电影配乐家（为《再见，列宁》谱写配乐）并组织音乐节和艺术活动。他最重要的音乐项目叫做“InterJazzional”,它是一个食材丰富的“拼盘”，致力于不同音乐体裁有机的融合。2004年3月，ichi开设了同名机构，他通过这个机构推广所有形式的艺术。

音乐哲学  
爵士乐，和所有真正的艺术一样，摈弃、超越了所有种族、地缘和宗教的界限。爵士乐只根据一位演奏者的演奏能力和他与同伴们互动的优劣来评判他，因而爵士乐免遭任何形式竞争的荼毒。爵士乐并不是一种井然有序、被绝对的规则掌控的音乐体裁。爵士是一种基于阐释和即兴创作理解音乐的方式。有了这些反思之后，他开始着眼于创造一种土壤，使得不同音乐、文化背景的艺术灵魂得以一同生长，达到更高的音乐和魂灵的境界。
