Chengdu Panda Hash Annual Red Dress (CHARITY) Run

Thank you for your interest in the Chengdu Panda Hash House Harriers annual Red Dress Run. Hash House Harriers is an international group of running and walking clubs that started in Kuala Lumpur in nineteen thirty eight. Since that time the idea spreads throughout the world, and now there are over four thousand clubs with clubs in major cities in China. Apart from regular runs, most clubs have special runs and must have a run, called the Red Dress Run. This is named after a run in LongBeach California, in nineteen eighty seven when a lady Donna Reinhardt was invited to wait behind as she has misread the event and turned up in a red dress and high heels. She declined to wait and run in her red dress. The following year she was invited back she suggested that itshould be a charity event. Since that time hundreds of clubs have started holding Red Dress Runs with runs in Cities from Beijing through to Australia.

感谢阁下关注成都熊猫捷兔跑步俱乐部和我们的年度慈善红裙跑。全球范围的Hash跑步俱乐部始于1938年的吉隆坡，旨在开展休闲运动(走路和跑步)。之后这一种子在世界范围内发展壮大，目前，包括中国主要城市在内，全球共有4,000多家Hash跑步俱乐部。除日常跑步之外，大多数俱乐部都有自己特有的跑步，即红裙跑。该跑步活动源于1987年在美国加州长滩的一次误会。当时一位名为多娜莱因哈特的女士由于误读了相关信息，应邀身着红裙来到了Hash活动现场，由于服装问题，她被撂在了一边儿，最后她没有理会如此冷遇，穿红裙参加了跑步活动。一年后她受重返加州长滩Hash跑步，并建议将红裙跑作为慈善跑步。之后，全球成千上百家从中国到澳大利亚的Hash俱乐部每年都会举行红裙跑。

Chengdu Panda Hash House Harriers since July 27, 1997 has been running every other week in and around the city of Chengdu. It has held the old traditional Hash on one occasion. Chengdu Panda Hash House Harriers has been holding Red Dress Run every year to follow in this tradition since then which we are proud of , we are grateful for our sponsor --- Yanlord and Sichuan Shenguang Collaboration & Investment Co. Ltd. for doing so much for our designated charity---Hopeful Hearts. This event is for fun, but it has a serious aim. We aim to allow more children who were born from poor family with heart defects to receive their lifesaving surgery. Thank you for your support.

成都熊猫捷兔跑步俱乐部自1997年7月27日成立至今，隔周日在市内及周边举行活动。非常荣幸的是21年来俱乐部传承了Hash的老传统---每年定期举行红裙跑。在此，我们对本年度慈善跑的赞助商---仁恒置地及深广公司表示衷心感谢。活动本身不仅非常有趣，而且意义非凡。本年度的红裙跑，我们再度联手“心的希望”，其宗旨是为更多出生贫困且心脏有先天缺陷的孩子们筹集善款做手术，让他们有更美好的明天。感谢诸位的鼎力支持。

Since this year is the 40^th anniversary for the Opening Up policy, Red Dress Run is going to be in Guang’An, hometown of Deng Xiaoping, as Yanlord is going to provide transportation for everybody, please sign up before October 20 so that Yanlord can arrange enough buses for us.
