Our Learning House began as a small community school and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing a safe and caring learning environment for orphans living with physical disabilities in the Chaoyang District, Beijing. Since its official inception in 2011, the school’s projects have gradually expanded to help more children, reaching from orphans in orphanages to de facto orphans in society, as well as children in distress and those left behind in remote, impoverished mountain areas.
Our Learning House is now an inclusive international elementary school that focuses on fostering a warm, creative, and nurturing environment for young children. With a curriculum that blends Eastern and Western educational philosophies, the school emphasizes experiential learning, cultural diversity, and the development of social and emotional skills. The school’s mission is to inspire a love for learning while celebrating each child’s unique potential.
