We are Green Hoaloha, a student-led environmental club at SSIS Senior School. We work towards raising awareness on on-going global environmental issues, and we also try to promote sustainability to our student body.
All donations that we receive go towards The Million Tree Project, started by Roots and Shoots. The project aims to raise funds to plant trees in areas facing desertification such as Inner Mongolia.
Our goal for this year is to plant 1000 trees in total, which would equate to one whole forest. The fundraiser will run from November 2021 until January 2022.
