  Carol Ong’s listed in the Hottest Creatives in Asia for close to a decade. Her work has been recognized in the Top 100 Ads in the World by the Gunn Report, Cannes Lions, Webby Awards, One Show, D&AD, Clio, Spikes Asia, Adfest Lotus, Effies, as well as China and the Philippine shows. She’s also in the jury of Cannes Lions and Spikes Asia International creative awards festivals. She believes in creativity that solves problems. Carol is the President of Bebebalm.com, a start up focused on product innovations on skin health, family first aid and safety. Prior, she’s the Deputy Executive Creative Director at McCann Health Shanghai. She’s helped start up BBH in China. She was with BBDO-Guerrero Ortega, the first Philippine agency to get in the World’s Top 50 creative agencies. ACE Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis Basic were also her playgrounds. Outside of advertising, she’s helped create a festival, the “Bacolaodiat”. It is now an official holiday in the Philippines. She's also one of the founders of PhilCham SH.

  Gayia Gesita Beyer is an Applied Anthropologist focused on understanding contemporary life, particularly on the economics of living according to life-stage. She has 25 years of extensive fieldwork experience in the study of people’s mindsets, behaviour and culture. Gayia’s work footprint has enabled her to design and leads research programs in in the Academe, Development and Corporate Environments. Currently the Director of Applied Anthropology for Havas Ortega and the Havas Development Sector Practice, Gayia has pioneered the use of ethnography as a major tool in the design of communications campaigns and marketing strategy for companies in the Philippines and abroad for over 12 years. Gayia has focused on understanding how the Millennial thinks, feels and acts in eleven key cities (Shanghai, Beijing, Hongkong, Mumbai, Delhi, Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Sydney) around Asia and the Pacific.

  Mario Tani heads the Philippine Trade and Investment Center office in Shanghai, China. Represents the Philippines in trade meetings and negotiations and actively promotes Philippines-China bilateral relations through trade and investments promotion. When assigned to Manila, he was tasked to develop Philippine trade in foreign posts around the world as well as facilitate the expansion of diplomatic and trade relations between investors and businesses. He worked to advance the Philippines’ trade and investment interests through trade promotion, investment promotion, commercial intelligence and trade negotiations. Mario was last assigned to Manila in 2015-2017, and handled several projects such as: 1) Taking the lead in special projects such as the development of the Philippine Startup Ecosystem Development Program and the Innovation Economy (for tech startups), organizing several business matching and promotional activities and facilitating SLINGSHOT Manila, the DTI and government’s platform to support Philippine tech startups and innovation. 2) Leading official business delegations to new and emerging markets such as Tehran, Iran. 3) Representing the DTI in international conferences promoting entrepreneurship. 4) Designated as Project Manager for several ASEAN 50 business events in 2017 such as the MSME Summit (1,000 participants-July 2017), ASEAN Youth Carnival (2,000 participants-September 2017), and SLINGSHOT@ASEAN (2,000 participants -October 2017) Prior to government, he has had extensive experience working in the private sector for 15 years. Last position was Country Channel Sales Head of an MNC (Multi National Corporation) tasked to run, manage and develop channel partners via dealership and distribution across the Philippines.

He currently sits on the Board of Directors of AS Louken Sachi, an international branding consultancy that has helped brands such as Charles & Keith and Bread Talk gain international success through branding. Chris was also awarded the Young Market Masters Award for his role in growing brands in the Asian region and is a regular columnist in Entrepreneur.com.ph. He graduated with the highest award in Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University, studied in the National University of Singapore and pursued Post-Graduate studies in Oxford University, UK where his project on ‘Franchising: An Innovation Strategy Perspective’ helped him graduate with distinction honours.

  Robert has just finished as the Consultant Director and Guest Director for the 1st season of PHANTACITY, China’s most expensive reality TV show for 2018 on Hunan TV, in which he directed the legendary Faye Wong, Sarah Brightman and several other Chinese celebrities, on top of creatively supervising 48 individual shows over 12 episodes. One of the leading roles in the smash hit musical MISS SAIGON, Robert reprised the role of 'General Thuy', playing it in 10 cities all over the world including, Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Scotland, Ireland, London’s West End and throughout the UK, playing a total of over 3000 performances. As a musical producer and director, Robert and his team co-produced a bilingual version of the children’s musical called ALICE’S ADVENTURE IN WONDERLAND in Shanghai then in the same year produced and made his directorial debut for his first original Chinese musical called ROCK SCISSORS PAPER, at the Lyceum Theatre, Shanghai, subsequently being listed as one of the TOP 5 highest gross box office earning original big musicals in China for 2016. In 2009, Robert directed his first full length feature film; shooting in Kunming, Yunnan with an international cast. Moving into television Robert hosted his very own TV Show called EVERLASTING FAVORITES on ICS, Shanghai’s first International English Channel then invited to be one of the guest hosts for ICS’s live national telecast of the GRAMMY’S. Robert was engaged by CHINA IDOL, a music reality TV show on Jiangsu TV to consult in Hollywood and around LA working with Chinese celebrities like Kahlil Fong, Tiger Hu, Hua Cheng Yu & Zhang Bi Chen and in the same year participated as one of the main cast for the first season of WHITE COLLAR BOXING, an online sports realty TV show aired on Sohu.com hitting over 100 million views. Robert was a guest speaker for Shanghai’s TEDx Talk held at the World Expo Centre. Robert is currently in the process of curating his first Art Exhibition called ‘MY OTHER BRAIN’ at Shanghai’s premier fine art venue, M50 presenting his own paintings along with works from his friends from around the globe.

  BJ Macatulad is the Founding Partner in Shanghai of the Singaporean beauty service brands Strip and Browhaus. BJ opened Strip & Browhaus' flagship store in Shanghai and the brands' first foray into China in 2009. The company will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with eight outlets in four locations throughout Shanghai. BJ first came to Shanghai in 2005 to spearhead the American company International Paper's M&A activities in Asia. Prior to coming to Shanghai, she worked as an investment banker in Hongkong, San Francisco and New York.
